Day 1 and 2

I've been playing a ton of Blue Prince with my wife lately so contains a lot of ideas from playing that amazing game. In general I wanted to explore the idea on some sort of roguelite mechanic where you progressively learn more information and unlock new things in a 2d environment.

Currently the game is that you are to navigate a 5x5 grid to reach the lower right corner and each square you unlock you can choose a type of "mini game" to unlock that square and be able to navigate further. In the mini game you can collect different facing arrows that allows you to keep unlocking the grid. Ideally the mini games should get harder and/or less rewarding the further down you go.

But it's also back to regular work now so we'll see how much time I have to tinker with this.

Also struggling on choice of music. Should I go ambient background thing or more chip-tunes. Or maybe both depending on the layer of mystery solving you're currently in?
